How will stitch benefit my child ?
The ripple of calm happens when an individual needs are met, this maybe by using some of our products or services.
When an individual with sensory or sleep issues needs are met its not only the individual that benefits it’s also their parents, carers, partners etc life becomes easier, educational outcomes can improve, relationships built, life skills and self-esteem are raised this ripple then runs through the wider community.
Many individuals with additional needs are written off as having nothing to offer the community, obtaining work experience is virtually impossible.
We believe that this is wrong. Having witnessed our own children grow up to be pretty much thrown off the cliff we decided to do something about this.
We believe everyone has something to offer, be a valuable member of society.
We take time to get to know participants well to identify what it is they enjoy, their skills, unique interests and their needs and then see where those abilities fit within a business model.
We offer opportunities to develop those skills within a safe, supported in a caring environment using equipment /support adapted to meet individual needs.
